Newark Homes and Real Estate

Newark is an enclave completely surrounded by Fremont. Incorporated in 1957 it has about 45,000 residents. Newark derives it’s name from Newark Castle in Scotland.

Newpark Mall, The Dumbarton Bridge and other areas often thought to be in Fremont are actually a part of Newark.

One of the other main characteristics of Newark is the George M. Silliman Community Activity a family oriented swim and fitness center.

Homes in Newark are on the “Very Affordable” end of the scale for the bay area and first time home buyers who might not be able to afford neighboring Fremont, often find homes there.
