Dublin homes are a mix of older neighborhoods to very new. Dublin Ranch is a development in the eastern hills with Large homes, diverse neighborhoods, a golf course and nearby shopping. Much of the new home development slowed to a crawl with the recession in 2008 and home prices have come down considerably.
Some of the best home values for larger homes can be found in Dublin Ranch with 4000 sq ft homes selling for as little as $900,000 in March of 2011. As the economy improves, the home values for this area will likely show some significant increases.
Dublin also has some older, more established neighborhoods as tract developments started in the early 1960’s. These too tend to be more affordable then similar homes in Pleasanton to the south or San Ramon to the north.
Every year, Dublin holds a large Saint Patrick’s Day Parade followed by a fair on Dublin Blvd. This is a large event attracting people from all over the county.
Dublin has about 50,000 people with an average family income of a little over $100,000. The make up of the city according to a recent censes is about 62% White, 10% Black, 10% Asian, and 14% Hispanic.
